• First Meeting House - Winslow Cemetery Road Erected about 1641 A small building with a thatched roof, stood a little North of this enclosure, it was sold when a new Church was built near the site of the present First Congregational Church. Here are to be found the earliest graves of the Town, including that of Governor Josiah Winslow. (1968)

  Uniquely appropriate for Pilgrim Marshfield, it represents Peregrine White astride his horse, on a southeast wind this native- born settler rides, as the old, to visit his Mother at the Winslow House, while a northerly wind carries him back to his home by the South River
